About the event
The Polish Center of Discovery and Learning invites the community to a special Polish Costume Lecture and Workshop, presented by Susan Urban, Polish Folk Art Artist. This program offers an in-depth exploration of Poland's rich regional folk costume traditions, examining the distinctive dress, textiles, and craftsmanship associated with regions including Kraków, Podhale (Górale), Kaszuby, Kurpie, Łowicz, and Śląsk.
Attendees will gain insight into the historical and cultural significance of these traditional garments, as presented through Ms. Urban's expertise in Polish folk art.
