Capital Campaign

imageA $3 million capital campaign drive is underway to restore our 18-room, more than 130-year-old building and equip it with state-of-the-art technology, so that we may open our doors and share our culture with others. The drive will create an endowment to ensure the future operation of the Polish Center, as well.

The Polish Center of Discovery and Learning offers programs that enrich lives and provide valuable services to the community, while maintaining the heritage of Polish immigrants who have overcome diversity and prejudice to create a better life for their families. Today, visitors of the center and its various themed rooms have access to a priceless collection of historical and cultural artifacts, a vast library of books, artwork, and genealogy services to conduct research.

Our vision is to expand the facility, enlivening the visitor experience with the addition of lectures, conferences, concerts and cultural events. And, we’re counting on you to make this a reality. By combining our resources, we can create an incomparable cultural experience for Polish-Americans and others interested in learning about Polish customs and hearing the stories of Polish immigrants.

The center depends on operating support to fulfill our mission. Our goal is to raise $3 million by January 1, 2010 to fund the expansion of our building and other essential renovations. Your help has never been more critical than in these challenging economic times.

Please consider making a contribution to The Polish Center of Discovery and Learning at Elms College to help us continue our celebration of the best of Polish history and the accomplishments of Poles, as well as our ability to offer unique learning and entertainment opportunities to local, regional and international visitors of the Center throughout the year.
