The Polish Center is located on the third floor of Berchmans Hall in the Center of the Elms Campus. There is a common space between the Polish and Irish Centers for lectures and receptions. In addition, the College makes additional space available to the Polish Center such as the Veritas Auditorium (seating for 900), the Borgia Gallery, the Alumnae Library Auditorium (seating for 200), the Mary Dooley Center Dining Hall. Polish Center books are, on the whole integrated into the Alumnae Library collection. There is space in the Polish Center for long-term exhibits. At present there is a collection of over forty Polish pisanki (decorated eggs), Polish regional costumes from Opoczno, Lowicz, and Krakow, books, and other items such as Polish bagpipes and a beautiful five-foot traditional Polish palm decorated with dry flowers and grasses.
