CLASS ON MAKING POLISH CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS

The Polish Center will offer school children, and others, instruction on creating traditional Polish Christmas tree ornaments - fascinating designs which reflect the joy of this very special season. For details, contact the Polish Center.

THE ART OF DEVOTIONAL PAINTING: THE WORK
OF MAREK CZARNECKI

A talk by Marek Czarnecki who has devoted his career to the art of
devotional painting since 1987. Deeply concerned about the preservation
of the Church's rich traditional heritage, he attempts to restore and produce his own works of art according to long-established rules governing the "writing" of icons. Open to all. Admission free.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

First Annual Scramble to benefit the Polish Center at The Orchards
Country Club (South Hadley, Massachusetts), a Donald Ross Course
now under the management of the Arnold Palmer Management Co.
and site of the 2004 Women's USGA Open. Includes prizes, lunch on
course, cart and green fees, and buffet dinner. For details, please contact
the Polish Center. $100 entry fee (team $400). Mixed gender team option.
